Face Massage

Far more than a beauty treatment, face massage works with the muscles, fascia, circulation and nervous system of the face to restore balance, release tension and support healthy, vibrant skin. It's a relaxing yet deeply restorative and therapeutic treatment that will leave you completely blissed out.

Most people hold a surprising amount of tension in their jaw, temples, brow and scalp. Over time this can contribute to headaches, jaw pain, facial tightness and the lines we often associate with ageing. Face massage works directly with these structures to soften tight muscles, improve circulation and encourage lymphatic flow.

The result is often a face that feels lighter, more relaxed and looks naturally lifted.

Inspired by Traditional Techniques

Our face massages draw from techniques used in the Japanese tradition of Kobido. Often translated as “the ancient way of beauty” in Kobido we use intricate hand and finger techniques, rhythmic tapping and lifting movements that stimulate circulation and tone the facial muscles.

More Than Skin Deep

At our clinic, face massage blends traditional influences with modern bodywork approaches. Techniques may include deep tissue work for the facial muscles, gentle myofascial release, lymphatic drainage and lifting techniques designed to improve movement and circulation in the tissues of the face and neck.

We aim to provide a treatment where you will experience deep and lasting relaxation.

Regular face massage may help to:

  • Release tension in the jaw, temples and forehead

  • Improve circulation and skin vitality

  • Support lymphatic drainage and reduce puffiness

  • Improve mobility of facial muscles and connective tissue

  • Encourage a natural lifting effect

  • Promote deep relaxation

Many clients also notice that their face feels softer, lighter and more expressive after treatment.

A Holistic Approach

Rather than focusing only on the surface of the skin, face massage treats the face as part of the whole body. The muscles of the face, scalp, neck and shoulders all influence how the face looks and feels. Addressing these connections allows the treatment to support both physical relaxation and overall wellbeing.

This is a deeply restorative experience - not just for the face, but for the nervous system and body as a whole.
